Angels On Acid was founded by Michael Banks in 2003 with a heavy influence in Metal,Psychedelic Trance, EBM, Gabber, and Industrial. The creative vision was to merge all of the dark, aggressive styles of the last 20 years into a new genre of music that he calls “Psybercore.” or “NEUROMETAL”.
Michael began working with Metal guitarist The Omen in the fall of 2005 and released “THE Dominate E.P.” in the spring of 2006. The Dominate E.P. was a milestone of diversity for their early experimentation of Industrial, EBM, Psytrance, Metal, and even Synthpop. And though the early stages of their style was born, the hunger for something more defined kept them digging for something deeper.Angels On Acid has just released their first full length album “Eyes Behind The Curtain.” With tracks like the dark EBM epic "Misery Loves Company" and the brutal Neurometal screwdriver "This Present Darkness" Angels On Acid has opened the gates for a whole new world of dark, aggressive dance music. They are currently touring the USA.
