Less then two months devide us from biggest metal festival in Finland - Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 26.-28.6. in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki and still more bands to come. Two new performances has been added to the 2009 line up. Legendary thrash/speed metal band Suicide Tendencies from Los Angeles - USA and Finnish
folkmetallers Korpiklaani have both been added for Saturday.
More unfortunate news is that the
Welsh metalcore sensation Bullet For My Valentine have been forced to
cancel their scheduled Tuska show for 27.6. Here is the excerpt from
the band’s official statement: “Bullet For My
Valentine are forced to cancel their appearances at DS Luzhniki Arena
in Moscow and Tuska Metal Festival in Finland in June 2009 due to
recording commitments for their 3rd album.” However nobody should suffer for lack of excitement: for 3 days, on 3 independent stages over 30 bands will perform. The biggest celebrities of Tuska 2009 are: My Dying Bride, Immortal, Sabaton, Black Dhalia Murder, , Volbeat and homemade Amorphis, Stam1na, Ensiferum or Rotten Sound.
