Earache Records, jedna z wytwórni do której priorytetów należy promowanie muzyki grindcore i pochodnych, na październik tego roku przymierza się do wydania trzy-płytowej kompilacji "Grind Madness At The BBC (The Earache Peel Sessions)" wyposażonej w ponad 118 nagrań grindcore'owych rozpoczynających ekstremalną egzystencję tego gatunku. Wszystkie utwory pobrane zostały z serii audycji radiowych z lat 1987-1990 prowadzonych przez animatora nowatorskich, oryginalnych i ekstremalnych gatunków muzyki rockowej - Johna Peela udzielającego się przez ponad 40 lat w brytyjskim BBC Radio. Na składance znajdą się utwory m.in. Napalm Death, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Extreme Noise Terror, Godflesh, Heresy, Unseen Terror, Intense Degree i innych dając w sumie ponad trzy godziny skrajnych, krańcowych i maksymalnych doznań.
Od początkowych dni działalności Earache Records, John Peel wspierał działalność wytwórni, mało tego, był wielkim zwolennikiem labelu jak i całej masy bandów reprezentujących grindcore i temu podobne (w jego audycji bez żadnych oporów i nakładania cenzury prezentowały się Napalm Death czy Heresy co w dużym stopniu przyczyniło się do rozwoju ich kariery). Earache Records wykupiło niedawno prawa do publikowania całości audycji Johna Peela."Grind Madness At The BBC (The Earache Peel Sessions)" ukaże się 12 października.
